Meet Dr. Elizabeth D. Tangel, Au.D.

Owner & Doctor of Audiology at Imaginears

With over two decades of experience in hearing healthcare, Dr. Elizabeth D. Tangel, Au.D., is passionate about helping her patients improve their hearing and quality of life through advanced audiological care.

Dr. Tangel earned her master’s degree in Audiology in 1993 from Sacramento State University in California and went on to complete her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) in 2008 from A.T. Still University School of Health Sciences in Mesa, Arizona. She has been a proud member of the Valley community since 2000 and has owned Imaginears since 2005. 

Known for her warm, educational approach, Dr. Tangel enjoys helping her patients understand hearing loss and the life-changing impact of modern hearing technology. She combines her strong computer and technical skills with the art and science of Audiology to fit each patient with personalized, state-of-the-art hearing solutions.

 Dedicated to lifelong learning, Dr. Tangel regularly attends professional seminars and advanced training to stay current on the latest developments in hearing healthcare. She is also an active member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, reflecting her ongoing commitment to excellence in patient care. 

Outside of her practice, Dr. Tangel enjoys exploring the outdoors through scuba diving, underwater photography, hiking, paddle boarding, and traveling. She loves spending time with her husband and their beloved companion, PorkChop.
